Jack was shortlisted along with two others for the "Young British Classical Performer of the Year" award at the 2005 Classical Brits. Nominees for the award were chosen by Gramophone Magazine based on their recent disc releases. The other nominees are cellist Natalie Clein and soprano Sally Matthews.
